Both the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat have advanced to the NBA finals. For Miami, this is their fourth consecutive time reaching the final stage in the play-offs. The question many people are asking is, “Can the heat do it again?” As always, anything is possible, so the correct answer is yes, but “Will they do it again?”is a whole different story. Looking only at both teams’ records this season, the Spurs have won 8 more games than the Heat and also have a better home record. With that being said, game one is played in San Antonio giving the Spurs a huge advantage. All stats aside, I still strongly believe Miami will win the play-offs, though I know this can be easily argued (leave your opinions below). With Dwayne Wade, Miami’s franchise player, and LeBron James, the best player in the NBA, Miami can defeat any opponent they may be up against. To add to these two amazing players, Chris Bosh, former Toronto Raptor, has had a very hot hand in the last two games of the Heat’s previous series. This addition will surely help propel the Heat to the title. It is also very important to understand that the team is not only made up of these three players. With Chalmers, Birdman, and all the others on the roster, these three have enough support to fall back on. Both of these extremely experienced teams will be hungry for it all, and will not allow such a great opportunity to pass up. I just believe the Heat have slightly more drive and talent! It, undoubtably, will be an amazing final series to watch, and will be quite interesting to see who wins it all this year.
